Hike #16: Early Morning Hike

 
Well, I was out the door at 7:15 AM, so that is an early morning hike for me!  I met up with a friend and we had a nice chat while walking through the woods on this beautiful morning.  I had a time of worship in the car on the way there and got a chance to read my Bible.  It was a great way to start the morning!

Hike # 15: Storytelling and Urban Hike

 

Michael and I attended at homeschool storytelling event and then went on an urban hike on a local greenway.  

I was trying to get a picture of this really cool butterfly and the only time it landed was on this big pile of poop!  It kinda reminded me to be a beautiful butterfly in whatever pile of poop I might find myself in.

Hike #14: Night Hike

 

Went on a night hike with my "ghost boy" to see the bat houses--we saw at least three bats flying around!  It was really dark by the time we were hiking back, but we were able to spot some really cool mayapple flowers.

Scavenger Hunt

 Michael and I joined a dozen other homeschool families in our local support group for a family scavenger hunt at a local park.  We had a great time!

Hike #12:Jarvis Park

 

I dropped Daniel off and headed out to a new park in our area.  It was a nice urban hike that was right around a mile.
