Fort Southwest Point--The first federal fort in Tennessee
Right on the Clinch River! The wind was brutal! And it was cold! At one point, I headed back to the van with Michael to find gloves, a hat and a windbreaker. He was much happier and warmer after that! We were the only ones there and wore our masks because it kept our faces warmer. We definitely plan on a return trip!
Heritage Center trail--we were hoping to see osprey and bald eagles. We got wet feet and saw the same birds we see at home in our own backyard.
