Lots of fallen leaves and mushrooms on the trail today.
On our hike this morning, the trail was covered with leaves and other foliage to the point where we almost couldn't even see the path in some places. But if you kept walking forward you would eventually see where the trail naturally bends and curves. We talked about how the trail markers on the trees above us helped us to find our way.
I told Michael that is like life sometimes. We can't see our path clearly all the time, but we just keep walking forward praying and trusting God to reveal the path to us as we go. Our trail marker is the Bible--God's Word. We study God's Word and it helps us to find our way.
