On my birthday, we took a trip out to the McMinn County Living Heritage Museum sans Daniel (he was working).
Masks were required. We wore ours even though we were the only people there.
McMinn county has a rich, and diverse history. Google Battle of Athens or Harry T. Burn--very cool stories! So many interesting stories of real people. One reason why we cannot rely solely on textbooks to inform us about the history, people and culture of our area.
