Hebrews 13:5-6
"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.' So we say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?'"
Isaiah 55:1-3
"Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, some, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David."
Thank you, God for your Church--the body of Christ!
Thank you, God for your faithfulness!
Thank you, Lord for the Church--fellow believers that encourage us and help us grow closer to you. Even though the Church is not yet perfected, thank you for loving your people, thank you for calling us by name, thank you for putting us into families. Thank you for all the influences you have placed in my life over the years. Mature Christians who held me accountable, taught me about you and led me to faith and a deeper walk with you. Thank you, Lord for your faithfulness. You will never leave us, nor forsake us. You are our helper and we can always count on you to be right there for us in every second of our lives. Thank you for being the ONE thing we can always count on!
