Job 1:20-21
At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: 'Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.
Thank you, God for wisdom.
Thank you Lord for Your wisdom. Your wisdom is greater than we can ever fathom. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that gives us discernment to know what to do in circumstances we face every day. Help us to draw close to you through Your Word, so that we can gain wisdom. In the book of James You tell us: "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Thank you Lord, for giving us your wisdom generously when we ask!
