Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.

Thank you, Lord for all the people you have placed in my life throughout the years. From childhood until now, I have had people who have invested in my life and encouraged me when I needed it, sometimes even when I didn't realize I needed it. Friends who have cared for me, showed me your love, and held me accountable. You sent me my best friend as my husband. He knows me better than I know myself most of time. He has loved me in my most unlovable moments and held my hand through the roughest times of my life. We've been together longer than we were ever apart. Thank you for such a great friend. Thank you for knowing our need for friendship and to be in relationship with others and with you. Help our friendships to be honoring to those you place in our lives for a season or a lifetime and to be honoring to you.
