Joel 2:25-27
I will repay you for the years the locust have eaten--the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm--my great army that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the Lord your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed.
Thank God for annoyances.
One of the hardest things to do sometimes is to thank You in the midst of all the little annoyances that we encounter on a daily basis. Often my attitude goes sour and my mouth is full of complaint instead of praise. Thank you Lord that although we didn't get to today's activity on time that meant we had more leisure time to hang out together while waiting for the next appointment time. Thank you that the directions we used to get there could be used in reverse to get home because we printed out the wrong ones. Thank you for safety and time spent together on the Sabbath. Help me in this upcoming week to stop and say "thank you" when annoyances come my way. You are still worthy of praise no matter what my circumstances!
