Tera slaved in the kitchen all day. She prepped dinner--crepes with homemade cream, homemade lemon curd and blackberry preserves AND bacon! Tera also made us lunch today as well. She is definitely the sweetest daughter ever!

JP has been in bed sick for the last two days. My one request for Mother's Day was fixing up our back porch with a new umbrella and chairs. He is also re-doing our patio table to match. Between rain storms and sickness, that request is postponed a bit, but we'll get around to it soon!

I wasn't feeling well this morning, so I took the opportunity to spend the day on the couch reading. It was a nice departure from my normal daily activity. Also, it was a nice respite to gear up for graduation week! I am blessed this day and every day!
