Tera chose to go to Dauphin Island, Alabama for her senior trip. We pushed on through our spring break and headed out last Saturday.
My grandmother has been ill, so we broke up the trip into two legs. We stopped to visit her at my brother's home on the way down.
We arrived late afternoon and headed to the beach. The beach was a short walk from where we stayed with its own boardwalk and beach area. We had stayed in this same area when we visited Dauphin Island in 2013.
