Before
you were born, we knew that your name would have profound significance to us
and to you. You were and are still an unexpected blessing from
heaven.
Tera-- earth; field
Tera,
I have never met a more grounded young lady in my life. Your roots grow
deep in Christ. Let your life continue to be built upon that
foundation. Then, your faith will grow strong in this truth that you have
been taught and you will overflow with thankfulness.
"And
now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to
follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on
him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you
will overflow with thankfulness.
Don’t
let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that
come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather
than from Christ. For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.
So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the
head over every ruler and authority."
Colossians
2:6-10
Leigh--healer
God
used you to bring beauty from ashes and joy from sorrow in our lives.
When you were born at 12:45 AM on October 2nd, you brought healing from the
Lord with you. As you begin your adult life, seek out the hurting and the
brokenhearted. Lead them to Jesus, the Ultimate Healer.
"He
heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
He
determines the number of the stars; He calls them each by name.
Great is our Lord and mighty in
power; His understanding has no limit."
Psalm 147:2-5
You know that you are named after your Uncle Terry
and his name is significant to your life as well.
Terry--harvester/reaper
Continue
in the good things that God has called you to do. Do not grow weary and
as you remain faithful you will reap an abundant harvest. A harvest of
lives that have been changed because of your faithfulness to God.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
Lee--the sheltered side of something; the side away
from the wind; refuge or shield
As
God equips and prepares you for a life of service to Him, be the safe place,
the shelter for those that God places in your life. Give them a person
they can turn to in their time of need. That will feel overwhelming at
times, but remember who is YOUR rock, and fortress and deliverer.
HE is
your refuge and shield and the horn of your salvation!
The
LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.
My
God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation.
My
stronghold, my refuge, and my Savior, You save me from violence.
I will
call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my
enemies.
Psalm
27: 2-4
Never
forget WHO you are
and WHOSE you are!
Happy
Birthday, our sweet girl!
We
love you more than you will ever know!
