This is the me inside my head...
Scared

Feeling the weight of the world
The me that others see is not always the me that I feel that I am.
I look at the picture and I almost let myself believe it...for a moment.
Then, the me inside my head reminds me that I know so little of that person in the picture.
She is the one I strive to be.
The one that is comfortable in her own skin that has stretch marks, dry skin and wrinkles.
The one that doesn't let her anxiety steal her moments away.
The one that doesn't care if the scale tells her a different story than the picture.
The one that is on top of the world--happy and confident to be there.
Feeling like she belongs up so high.
This is me...
Staring at the picture
Silencing the lies that the me inside my head wants me
to believe.
Knowing that God created the true me to be more than the me inside my head
lets me believe.
This is me...the real me.
