When we arrived to pick up his project in the afternoon, we were surprised when the librarians tagged us down saying Michael had won best overall project (Pre-K-7th grades) and the fan favorite award (library patrons voted on their favorite entry).
Michael was so excited! We have always prepared our children for loss in competition, so it's so nice when they actually win and win big! He loved his prizes which included an assortment of Legos and an "Inventions" science kit!
He came home planning his next entry for the competition in October.
