the blowing of the room humidifier

a sister reading a story to her little brother
the innocent bickering of siblings
laughter that fills a room
the instruction received from teachers

the traffic that passes my house as it lulls me to sleep
God's Word speaking to my heart
old songs discovered by my children for the first time
stories about the day
words of encouragement
prayers lifted up
