Today I give thanks for the season of Advent. Jesus came as Messiah over 2000 years ago, but He's coming again one day. The first Sunday of Advent, we are reminded of the hope that we have in Christ. The hope of His return! The hope of eternity with Him!
I give thanks for time spent together as a family working on a symbolic mosaic that will serve as a reminder to us during Advent. I'm thankful that we can work together peacefully and that our home is a safe place.
"And having heard the king, they went their way; and lo, the star, which
they had seen in the east, went on before them, until it came and stood
over where the Child was. And when they saw the star, they rejoiced
exceedingly with great joy."
