So, I did my research before going to Epcot. I wanted to make sure it was fun for all the kids and they had some cool souvenirs (and inexpensive) to take home with them.
We decided to buy the Epcot passport books and hit the Kidcot stations at each of the countries in the World Showcase. I now know that was way too ambitious. We ended up getting 7 of the 11 countries, which I felt pretty good about.
Another cool thing were the pressed penny machines. They are EVERYWHERE!!! We took the tip of recycling a mini M & M tube to layer our quarters and pennies ahead of time. Awesome idea.
Test Track--One of the kids' favorite things of the day. They loved Soarin' as well. You know that warning about if you are afraid of heights...well, I am and I ignored that warning. It wasn't too bad, but I will admit to closing my eyes, white knuckling the handles next to me and practicing my cleansing breaths quite a few times.
We were treated to lunch at the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. It was DELICIOUS! My family all voted that my lentils were better. (That made my day!)
Before we left that morning, a family friend said we had to stay for the fireworks. I expressed my doubts that we would last that long. But you see the proof! We spent 12 hours at Epcot! My legs were so sore and we were beat, but it was so much fun and definitely worth it. I never thought I would feel that way about Disney!
