Whew...this has been a challenging day, but I will remember....
Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Today I give thanks for:
- sunny skies
- an able body that can do the work that needs to be done
- good books
- children who are wanting to serve others
- answers to prayers
- being able to stop and pray about a situation
- having access to fresh fruits and vegetables
- our garden
On the good days and the not-so good days, it's important for us to stop and thank the Lord for every good thing we have. Even when everything seems like it's going wrong, we still have so many blessings. We have to be willing to open our eyes, recognize them and give thanks.
