Life is Good

So, I saw this cute idea to teach the "Fruits of the Spirit".  Basically, you fill a jar with small candies (We used jellybeans).  When you notice someone exhibiting a "fruit", they get a jelly bean.  The key:  Parents have to notice.  It cannot be pointed out or hinted at.  This is a great positive reinforcement exercise for parents, too.

Off and on, Michael has been working through Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons.  I told him we would have a party when he finished.  He finished this week and picked an ice cream sundae party!

How did my baby get to be FIVE?

 Doing the happy dance!

Our spring garden has yielded some salad and a few radishes.  The strawberries are coming along nicely and we are looking forward to getting our inside seedlings in the gardens soon.  It's been a good year for our seedlings.

Life is just good right now!
