I went into our last couple of weeks of school this semester planning on being more low key and going with the flow. The kids worked on individual projects, read a lot, and listened to audio books. It wasn't what I usually do around the holidays, but since I got sick on Tuesday it all worked out. All 3 kids eventually got sick with Daniel being the latest victim only last night. I'm still tired and hope we all feel back to normal by Christmas. I think we'll just stay at home and rest until then. That sounds really good to me. I'm letting go of the unrealistic expectations (like clean floors) I place upon myself and enjoying just being together.
