Giving thanks in spite of crazy circumstances can be a challenge, but that's when it's most important for us to do so.
- I'm thankful the toilet didn't overflow when Michael was messing with it.
- I'm thankful Tera didn't burn herself while pulling out a pan with hot water in it. Honey flavored water went all over and into the bottom drawer of the stove. It needed to be cleaned out anyway.
- I'm thankful that we were only swarmed by fake lady bugs instead of yellow jackets on our field trip today.
- I'm thankful for leftover beans that I could make into homemade bean burgers.
- I'm thankful for safe travels as we go to lessons each week.
- I'm thankful that JP kept Michael today so Tera and Daniel could have a middle-school type field trip.
- I'm thankful for the smell of fresh baked bread.
- I'm thankful that God's mercies are new every morning and for second (third, fourth, etc.) chances.
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
