This year instead of store bought cards, I typed up "love notes"- a list of 10 Things I Love About You for each of the kids. I just wanted to do something more significant that gave them some affirming messages about who we think they are. I used my book stands to prop them up on the table. I bought some mini-oreos and dipped in chocolate for their "treat" and surrounded them with paper doilies.

Our valentines to each other...
I awoke to find that my husband had left me a sweet valentine on the table and didn't get in bed until 5 AM to do so. He's so sweet! I think I'll keep him forever!
I hadn't mentioned getting the kids valentines to JP. So he got them a little something, too.
Hey, it's been a love fest and a sugar (the edible kind) fest today, but could you ask for anything more on Valentine's Day!
