Valentine's Day
We started our day with heart-shaped (well, sorta heart shaped) muffins, and fresh strawberries with yogurt. Oh, and Strawberry Nesquick. A special treat!
Valentine from Mommy and Daddy
Then off to a Valentine's party with our co-op!
We did Conversation Heart graphing. Michael kept stealing his partner's hard work, but luckily she's an easy-going little girl. Plus, she has a little brother, so she knows all about that.
Baby oil suncatchers
Decorated cookie pops
More coordinate graphing practice...
Lots of good food,
Valentines,
and great friends!
It was a bittersweet day for us. Our friends and co-founders of this little co-op were moving the next day...moving to a new state. So, I did really good at first. It was only when I was presented them with a gift to remember us by, I turned into a blubbering mess! I didn't totally break down...I didn't want to scare my children or theirs. Then, when it was time to leave, it happened again. So, I had to make a fast getaway. Like I'm about to do right now by dropping this subject before I get started again.
(I'll post another day, how I put together the gift above...I was so nervous about how it would turn out, I had an actual nightmare.)
For more pictures of our day, check out It's A Boy's Life and The Forest Room...I'm so blessed to call these two ladies my friends.
