30 Days of Bread: Pumpkin Yeast Bread


Pumpkin Yeast Bread

This recipe was adapted slightly from a Taste of Home recipe.

1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup warm evaporated milk (70 to 80 degrees)
2 Tbsp. softened butter
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/4 cup flour
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 pkt. active dry yeast or 2 1/4 tsps.

Put everything in your bread machine.  Basic bread setting- 1 1/2 lb. loaf.   Check after 5 minutes and add flour or water if needed (1 to 2 Tbsp.)
