One thing I really enjoy about homeschooling is flexibility....when an impromptu learning experience pops up, you can just go with it. A neighbor in the lawn and tree trimming business dropped off some huge tree trunks (for firewood), so we headed outside. Trying to count tree rings

Some sword fighting before the heat got to us. Then, we headed inside for popsicles and Muzzy!
