Simple Joys of Summer- Rock and Roll Ice Cream
Rock and Roll Ice Cream

First you crush your ice...
Then fill a coffee can halfway full with ice and 6 Tbsp. of salt. Roll around for a few minutes until your can is really cold.
Then in a quart size bag combine:
1/2 cup half and half
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Squeeze out all the air and place it inside a second quart size bag.
Then roll.....
roll....
roll and check the timer.... then roll some more.
You can check it about 5 minutes in to see if it is frozen but it took us more like 10-15 minutes.
Eat with vigor...
Give it a two thumbs up when you're all done!
